For my journeyman exam I mad the mandatory bracelet and a locket in silver and received the goldsmith diploma.
The mandatory bracelet has set dimensions that needs to be exact, he hinge needs to be tight and the clasps needs to close with a "click" in order to be approved.
The design of the locket in optional but needs to involve four different techniques - hinge, lock, forging and soldering.
It was quite a difficult test to go thru, but fun and I'm so proud I passed and got the diploma.
